Fifty Truck-Buck V contestants showed up in Irondale hoping their deer racks would score high enough to win a Truck-Buck week or wildcard division so they could advance to this summer’s Truck-Buck Shoot-Out. Amazingly, nobody brought a Week 9 rack to the scoring event, so a chance for a brand-new truck and a free Savage deer rifle will go unclaimed.

Pending polygraph examinations, 15 weekly and three wildcard winners are now headed for the Truck-Buck Shoot-Out on July 21 at Birmingham’s Annual World Deer Expo, where a brand new pickup truck will be awarded to the best shot of the afternoon. For the contestants who don’t win AON’s Truck-Buck, they’ve already won great prizes.

Additional prizes going to some of this year’s Truck-Buck contestants are:
• 9 Savage X-Bolt Stainless Stalker deer rifles.
• 1 Savage youth deer rifle.
• 4 Mathews Drenalin bows.
• 1 CVA .50 cal. Accura muzzleloader.
• 19 Pro Series Safety Systems from Hunter Safety System; plus a potential $1,000 bonus from HSS.

Listings are posted by place, name, county, then the net B&C score. Key: (b) bow-kill; (c) crossbow; (y) youth; (m) muzzleloader; (pl) public-land; (l) lady; (*) non-typical.  Typical and non-typical racks are compared by dividing the net score of each rack by the B&C minimums of 170 for typical and 195 for non-typical.
