Pickwick: Level: 2.6 feet below full pool. Temp: 52-53 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass:
Bass fishing is excellent, according to guide Brent Crow. Alabama Rigs fished at any depth are catching fish. Many anglers are anchoring in the main river channel and casting to the river ledges. Spinnerbaits are catching some bass fairly shallow on secondary points in creeks and in pockets. Some bass are also being caught in the mouths of Spring Creek, Bear Creek and Yellow Creek. Smallmouth fishing is expected to get really good when the nighttime temperatures don’t fall below 55 degrees. That fishing should be really good around Florence with Alabama Rigs, swimbaits and spinnerbaits.
