It’s hard to believe it’s already August and in just another six weeks or so the nights will once again get that nip in the air that reminds us hunting season is around the corner. On these pages are the hunting-season dates and bag limits.

Other than for waterfowl and a few other bird species, these have been set in stone. However, as always, check with DCNR in their official regulations book to verify all seasons and dates. That information is also available at https://outdooralabama.com/hunting/seasons-and-bag-limits.

When you find success this season, we ask that you send us a photo to possibly publish in the magazine. Just email the picture and caption info to editor@aonmag.com. Good luck, and hunt safe in 2018-2019.
